Feeling Like a Kid
You know when you were a kid and forever falling over and getting scrapes etc? Today I was walking along thinking of everything that was on my mind and not really concentrating when wham - face down on the floor grazed hand and knee (blood and all) luckily no one around but still embarrassing and I felt about five years old - blood hurt too :(

Out of Sorts
One of those days today but that could be due to the 3 1/2 hours sleep i almost got last night hmmmmmm!
Read a bit more of my book whilst I was round at S and R's last night - If anyone fancies it after me just let me know ok. I registered, as my anonymous tipper offer recommended, on book crossing - incidentally i thought I knew who the anonymous tipper was as when I joined book crossing it automatically gave the name of the referring person in the section which asks how I found out about this however, J said in no uncertain terms that is wasnt him? Wonder who it was then lol.

Mad Ecclesiastical and a Kiss
The Book - Enter a religious nut - a little more crying - and oh my god - she kissed the married man!!!!!!!
Dear readers of this blog - Public Announcement - I have not lost my marbles just turning out to be a good book in the light of need for distraction! If anyone wants it after me feel free but bear in mind i read in the bath so don't expect it to be in perfect condition without a bent spine! I do wonder if I should read something a little more academic hmmm? (thought passed rather quickly)
Visit from the Nursery today where E will go when she turns three - turns out I knew the woman and used to babysit for her son when I was younger - also her hubby was a mate of my dads - small world at times isnt it/

Bloody Marvelous
The hail stones woke E last night who was petrified by the noise on her window so I ended up with her in my bed - its amazing how much room a (nearly)three year old takes up in a king size bed which amounted to approximately three hours sleep!
Hence the reason I skipped pottery tonight to laze in the bath with a nice bottle of chablis yummmmmm. Oh and my book of course which I am finding hugely entertaining - the plot so far...
Single mum of two in London who has tragically lost her hubby as he was rushing to the hospital for the birth of their second son (the bit i cried at) who lived in an appartment in a posh bit of london in a block which also housed a high class call girl, an italian family, an old grouchy bloke and a couple of poofs (no offence), dead hubby's family are aristocratic and live in the country comes to aid of failing single mum who can't manage who moves to the country (at the expense of the in-laws)and how the above clan integrate with the aristocratic (who turn out to be quite mad and not aristocratic at all)and incidentally falling in love with a married man at the same time - hugely entertaining!!!
i'll keep ya posted.

Yuck Day
Followed by a healthy tea of a packet of Wotsits and a rocket ice lolly - lolly before crisps to stop it melting (kinda sums up my day really).
Had two kinda not good conversations with two people I care about today one of them resolved the other sort of as much as you can with a bloke! (bloody men and mothers!)
Then Uni tonight - 40 min journey to get there to find notes plastered everywhere saysing "Due to adverse weather conditions tonights classes have been cancelled" I mean bloody hell do they not have a system where they ring people to tell them?? So 1 Hour back due to also travelling back in rush hour - Do you get the idea of the Uni I go to????
The best bit was its still snowing - thats it really - apart from ararnging a boozy night with a couple of the girls

Return of the Sore Throat
Well actually it never went! I had antibiotics from the doc when i got back from skiing which worked (got rid of the horrid tonsillitis spots anyway) but at the end of the measly five day course it still felt decidedly odd (usually they give me a ten day course hmmmm - screams budgets to me!). So anyway I've been sdtruggling with a sore throat ever since which turned into razoe blades by Friday - still no spot so i've been struggling on trying to cope on my own with conventional over the counter medocone - it keeps feeling a bit better but then get worse again just when i start to relax so any alternative cures anyone knows about would be gratefully received.
Heard from my old mate today who i've not seen in ages and a possible meeting in March on route from Scotland down south so could be fun.
I wasn't going to say anything in my blog about this but I'm so furious with D (the other one!)let just say E is with him this weekend and i got a shock last night! less said the better I think but you get the general idea!

Nearly end of the week...
And today was markedly better that the beginning im pleased to report!
Im up to chapter 7 in THE book and pleased to report tonight that i shed no tears - a couple of thoughtful moments but no tears and so far its doing ok and intriguing me with the mindless drivel.
E goes to her fathers this weekend but I'm off down to D and S's on sat on W, H and B duty which sould be fun - and in a moment of madness agreed to do some pic axing for my mum on Sunday hmmmmm.
E's party invites went out no problem and had some acceptances which is promising so just the rest to organise now.
Also got some Uni modules sorted out for this semester - gonna be doing three (mad i know) but due to the lovely Uni changing how they accredit modules (yet again) i've had to pick up an extra one to make up the shortfall so not happy at all and means loads more extra work - am I mad??? Let just hope E's father is a bit more reliable in helping out with the childminding this time!!!!
As for E - at Granny's tonight we were expecting a visit from one of mum's old cronies who incidentally i called a witch tonight (lovingly) - but bad move as when she arrive E disappeared so when I shouted her she bellowed back i can't come and see the old witch - at which point i went scarlet red and mentioned something about a sandwich not a witch - don't think it convinced anyone though - ah well.

Wrinkly Again!
Chapter 4 or 5 - can't quite remember - I'd tell you about the book and the author but fear of being ridiculed for reading stupid womens romance crap - which I guess it is - but bonus - no crying tonight! actually made me chuckle and is making me smile anyway so thats gotta be good :)
More wine mmmmm - supposed to be another early night but just remembered E's party invites which need written for nursery tomorrow - oh the joys...
Arrrrrggggghhhhhhhh
First day back at work so decided to get in early to catch up on e-mails - lets just say not a good day all round - ended up staying till 7pm to prepare for a big event tomorrow which was supposed to be the end of the month which has been brought forward to tomorrow - however, my lovely colleagues didn't bother to call, text or e-mail this lovely bit of information to me at all whilst I was on my hols hence having to work late - and e-mails by the way did not get done!
I've decided I think I'm gonna pack up sell up and get a lovely little none taxing job which I can live on and just have fun - any takers to join me??
Time for bath and more crying over a stupid book i guess.

Return of the Literature Bather!
For anyone who knows me - you will know that I either read or I don't read - I tend to go through phases where i read lots or nothing at all (generally due to time contraints) and when I do read I generally read for a bit of escapism from the general humm drumm or life, to take my mind off something and just a bit of fun to take my mind off other things (and always in the bath unless its an exceptional book). So tonight whilst tidying some stuff out I came across a book someone bought me about two years ago which I didnt get round to reading - so I decided to give it a whirl - another thing about me is its gotta grip me by the end of the first chapter or its a lost cause. So anyway tonight I started to read a book which promises to be a bit slushy at times and two chapters later (long chapters) one sob (sad bit until i made mysef laugh as i realised i was sat in the bath crying) and two fill ups to keep me toasty warm I emerged from tepid water decidedly more wrinkly than when i got in! - Looks like the bath reader is back for a least a month!.
So my early in bed before 10pm did not happen and work tomorrow - oh joy - but hey I have tomorrow nights bath read to look forward too.

Reading too much into things again...
I was bored tonight so decided to do some digging around and read some stuff - wish I hadn't now - not going into too much detail but i think im just too sensitive for my own good and just need to look forward and not back - I think it also does not help that I am feeling mighty down today what with feeling like crap and being on antibiotics for tonsillitis which is not going to help either.
Roll on April...

Nearly There
Its been a busy couple of days what with one thing or another but very nice not being at work - hols for two weeks woo hoo.
I've been having a big sort out in the house and so far have 8 bin bags for Charity and 3 for the tip - you know what its like - out with the old in the new.
I also rang the farmer who's cows escaped just before christmas and made a mess of the paddock to see if there is anything that can be done - I gotta say he was as miserable as sin but did say he had some heavy machinery which he will come up and try to flatten it out for me - I was extremely nice to him and even told him i like cows so lets just wait and see!
As for my hols wooooooooooo hooooooooooooo Skiing here I come. Looks like J is chickening out with the 5.30am pick up at Bourg due to bad weather but has promised to meet me as I arrive in Val and to be honest I've seen J attempt to put snow chains on so better off on the bus anyway i think!!!! J also sent me a video of how to catch the bus which i thought was rather funny!
So just got birthday celebrations to get out the way, then packing then i'm off woooo hooo.
