The Weekend ish!

Well from Wednesday on over I guess! E went off to her dad's so I went off Down south....Maidstone to be exact to see S!

The journey down was a bit errr long (7 hours eeek) but I think this could be down to me driving and somehow missing the M11 and the other roads I should have gone on and going all the way on M1 hitting the M25 slap bang in rush hour hmmmmm well 2 hours on the M25 and a new friend in the form of lamppost number S6 (yes I was standing still for quite a while and going slowly mad) needless to say I arrived at S's in not the best of moods bursting for the loo and starving!

Anyway the next couple of days were spent well errrrr working I guess with S and helping him learn a new stock programme etc (yes I know I was on my hols but its the company that counts isnt it?).

Anyway Saturday we headed off into London to see Les Miserables, as I am trying to convince S that there are shows out there just as good as Blood Brothers. I have seen Les Miserables once before about 8 years ago and loved it and it is still as good as I remember and yes I cried (only 3 times this time he he). S then pushed the boat out and because we were in London he bought tickets for the evening to see Billy Elliot. So Les Miserables matinee and Billy Elliot evening performance. Meals went like this - china town before Les Mis for Dim Sum then show then chinatown for the main course he he then show (Billy Elliot)!

Right I know I love Les Miserables but I have to say I was absolutely blown away with Billy Elliot (S preferred this one too so we have come to the conclusion that he prefers others then Andrew Lloyd Webber). Anyway Billy Elliot is well worth the money and the kid who played the lead was fab! I would definitely recommend this and go and see it again myself! (We had great seats for both shows too in the stalls!).

Anyway S gave me some new directions and it only took me 4 hours to get home thank god lol and got my ickle girl back this evening yayyyyyy! Apparently her dad had asked if she thought he and his new(ish) wife (I use the word wife sparingly because as people know I don't like to be mean or degrade or call anyone names on my blog) were boring and whether she wanted to go home to mummy (what a thing to ask a 4 year old!) anyway she said daddy was not boring but his new wife was he he he he he and mummy, Granny and S are defnitely not boring too (I'm smiling tonight!). Not sure about the wanting to go home bit but she obviously said no or was bribed to stay!

Anyway back at work tomorrow all be it without the kids so need to sort out and bath and make myself presentable and organised for two days of partying yay :)

Today was interesting hmmmm... So last 3 days at the old school before half term then into new school so the school had an open day on Friday - just in time for some unsavoury ex pupils to trash the place and graffitti and break all the fire alarms hmmm - it is a nice school really - obviously just a handful of total utter W**kers. This meant for some interesting deciphering of words which had been scrubbed off over the weekend - outside my classroom was something to do with Mrs Jones and Love so I think that although it was an unwelcome statement at least it wasnt anything terrible!

As for the fire alarms these were obviously discovered by kids over lunch time so two classes remaining both interrupted with fire alarms going off! Since the fire alarms did not have safety glass in them due to Friday it meant the lovely dears just had to press gently with a finger to get all the school on the yard in the freezing cold for two lessons running! So about 20 mins of teaching done this afternoon the rest out on the yard adding to sore throat which HAD gone away - is now back!

After that it was mad dash to dentist with E for 4pm - just made it after being stuck in the school car park by a lovely woman in a mercedes estate who decided to proceed to block off the only in and out of car park and smile at everyone wanting to get out whilst refusing to move till she had all her kids in the bloody car!

And only two more days to go..........

Good Weekend.....

And busy...

Yesterday me and E got up and decided to ring D, S, W, H and B in New Zealand to tell them all the good news about degree and leading role in nativity etc etc, and also to have a bitch about ex hubby who is being a shit at the mo! Got all their gossip and an hour and a half later we headed off to Whitby for a spot of shopping before coming home and generally having a mess around time! Then teatime I picked up my sisters two boys and we all headed off to McDonalds for a quick!!!!! Tea - whoever called McDonals fast food wants shot took us over 30 mins stood in a blooming que!

Anyway I was having the boys over night to E's excitement so it was home TV to numb the brains then bed he he shortly follwed by me still suffering with flu (incidentally this is the same strain as man flu only us women don't moan half as much and do not seriously think or have disillusions of being at deaths door!). Anyway we all survived the night till around 7pm when after watching a DVD in bed to try and steal some more sleep we all got up had Breckie and went outside for a mad two hours running around and playing pirates on the climbing frame! (also in a bid to save the house from being totally wrecked by lunch time byt a 2, 3 and 4 year old eeeek)

Then it was phone call from sis who was obviously taking the offer to get rid of sibblings extremely seriously since she was askign if I would have them till after lunch so she could go shopping - didnt mind really! we made some really interesting clay bits and bobs in a creative moment as well as planting out bulbs and winter pansies in the garden, watching another DVD and generally having a ball! They finally departed at 4pm!

Anyway some time with E learning her words for the nativity and her reading etc which she is doing fab at and she was in bed!

I am totally loosing it and decided to drag some stuff out the attick tonight - two huge boxes of computer parts which are going to the dump as they must be sooooooooo out of date now and of course the obligatory halloween goodies to decorate the fire place next weekend :), incidentally no massive party here this year due to E having an invite somewhere else so we decided to let someone else do the hard work this year instead - although...... I'm sure as everyone who knows me knows we will more than likely have some goolie spooky stuff going on as usual!

Blooming knackered!

I am absoluitely shattered today! Yesterday I decided to star christmas shopping early eeeek, then popped to P's for his 30th birthday party before leaving early to get back to go round next doors!

Today was up and off to a christening (bless) then to the pub (would have been rude not to really he he), so got back then decided that the grass which should have stopped growing last month obviously had not so I have given the lawns another final mow of the year (lets hope 2nd time lucky). The plan of having a bonfire I chickened out of due to not really trusting myself to have a fire by myself hmmmmm and no pyromaniac blokes avaialbe for hire he he - oh well maybe next week if S is around :)

Solicitors tomorrow hmmm!

Harry Potter moment and other stuff....

S was up again this weekend in his new motor - which incidentally E loves to bits! Given she had the final asy on the interior colour (Piano Black), as the cashmere was "boring" and she also thinks the Jaguar on the steering wheel is not fierce enough he he.

So anyway fab weather so we headed off to Grosmont as I heard there was something going on on the railway. It turns out there was a steam train thing going on, a bit uncomfortable at first being the youngest hem hem of most of the people there but E's first ride on a train she was loving it! We decided to head off to Goathland (Heartbeat Country) and back again so we managed to get first class on an old steam locomotive! We had a cabin to ourselves except a young lad who obviously thought we were nuts - we were pretending to be royalty with comoners outside waiting to entertain us - nervous giggles from the lad in our carriage at this time who kept insisting on poking his head out the window and taking loads of dodgy pics every time the steam went up (he also bought a scratty calendar for £8.00 - obvioulsy an enthusiast tut tut). However was rather Harry Potterish and E has decided she likes trains best of all cause you don't have to wear a seat belt and our carriage was like sitting on a sofa he he.

Ended the day with a trip to The Lion on Blakey Ridge for food, which incidentally must have been taken over as not quite as nice as before!!!!

So lazy Sunday! E has decided she is going to marry S (I have competition he he) and likes to smoochy kiss just about anything moving at the mo! Not good!

Oh and forgot bloody cam this weekend so no pictorial diary - bloody typical!
