The Weekend ish!
Well from Wednesday on over I guess! E went off to her dad's so I went off Down south....Maidstone to be exact to see S!
The journey down was a bit errr long (7 hours eeek) but I think this could be down to me driving and somehow missing the M11 and the other roads I should have gone on and going all the way on M1 hitting the M25 slap bang in rush hour hmmmmm well 2 hours on the M25 and a new friend in the form of lamppost number S6 (yes I was standing still for quite a while and going slowly mad) needless to say I arrived at S's in not the best of moods bursting for the loo and starving!
Anyway the next couple of days were spent well errrrr working I guess with S and helping him learn a new stock programme etc (yes I know I was on my hols but its the company that counts isnt it?).
Anyway Saturday we headed off into London to see Les Miserables, as I am trying to convince S that there are shows out there just as good as Blood Brothers. I have seen Les Miserables once before about 8 years ago and loved it and it is still as good as I remember and yes I cried (only 3 times this time he he). S then pushed the boat out and because we were in London he bought tickets for the evening to see Billy Elliot. So Les Miserables matinee and Billy Elliot evening performance. Meals went like this - china town before Les Mis for Dim Sum then show then chinatown for the main course he he then show (Billy Elliot)!
Right I know I love Les Miserables but I have to say I was absolutely blown away with Billy Elliot (S preferred this one too so we have come to the conclusion that he prefers others then Andrew Lloyd Webber). Anyway Billy Elliot is well worth the money and the kid who played the lead was fab! I would definitely recommend this and go and see it again myself! (We had great seats for both shows too in the stalls!).
Anyway S gave me some new directions and it only took me 4 hours to get home thank god lol and got my ickle girl back this evening yayyyyyy! Apparently her dad had asked if she thought he and his new(ish) wife (I use the word wife sparingly because as people know I don't like to be mean or degrade or call anyone names on my blog) were boring and whether she wanted to go home to mummy (what a thing to ask a 4 year old!) anyway she said daddy was not boring but his new wife was he he he he he and mummy, Granny and S are defnitely not boring too (I'm smiling tonight!). Not sure about the wanting to go home bit but she obviously said no or was bribed to stay!
Anyway back at work tomorrow all be it without the kids so need to sort out and bath and make myself presentable and organised for two days of partying yay :)
