Breast Cancer Awareness

For those who aer not aware October is Breast Cancer awareness month. its a very worth while cause and good luck one and all X

Arrrgggghhhh Part Two

Ever get one of those days! again!

Got to uni to find me and this lovely woman standing outside the same room - after we decided we were doing the same module and no one else turned up we hunted out the staff room to be told the module had changed and was on at 6pm not 7.30pm and that no one had turned up so the tutor went home! - now given i spoke to the Uni yesterday do you not think they might have told me this pearly bit of information? As it is I had to go and retrieve E from granny ship her back home and a good job my back is loads better as I had to carry her snoring from the car to bed hmmmmmmm.

As well as that and annoying and upsetting good mates today a brill day don't you think - please of please just elt someting nice happen before i go to bed!

X

Ramblings

Well back to the grind tonight with Uni and internet marketing - oh joy!

By the way can you become addicted to deep heat? Just wondering as i seem to be keeping them going at present.

And for those who have not realised yet when I've been wokring at home lots doing really boring report writing i start to blog about a load of rubbish really so please excuse my ramblings and those poor folk who are bothered by me during the day when i get lonely and bored lol - I'm just a little social monster really!

ttfn x

Arrrgggghhhhh!

Work.......... thats all i'm saying

Location Location Location!

I have just read somewhere today that I no longer live in Teesside or Cleveland and I now reside in the Tees Valley - Just wondering if we'll be getting our very own super hero next!

Brain Dead!

Its half past eight and for some reason it feels like 4am in the morning after 3 bottles of yummy red wine! I've decided I think i have a bug of sorts as i don't feel 100%

I've had my bath for the night (lovely) loaded with deep heat again only for some reason the majority of my skin has gone a red colour this time! strange maybe too much again but as i said before quite hard to reach place hmmmmmmm.

Heard from D tonight who seems to be having a bit of a life crisis at the moment but don't worry you'll be fine i know it, it was good to hear from you anyway. In answer to your question - definitely not a season as too many have passed!

Fishy still lives even though I did find splashes of water on the chest again today! He has perked up since i removed the plant from his bowl, I was advised by the pet store to add some plants to oxygenate the water so I did - Fishy then proceeded to sit at the bottom of the bowl and not do much and I had to change the water about every 2 days hmmmmmm. In the end I removed Fishy took out the plan and washed the gravel - the plant smelled disgusting and now Fishy (minus plant) is as bright as a button and darting around - even making fun of the cat (Fish with attitude its great).

So the fish lives and i'm brain dead how ironic!

Strange Man!

I have just had the strangest conversation ever! I got one of those annoying phone calls from Choice Mortgages trying to flog me another mortgage, I was of course very nice to the guy and explained that I do indeed have a great mate (B) who sorts all that sort of stuff out for me which he was very happy to accept, he then started a general chit chat! which I thought very friendly but slightly strange and ended the conversation saying "If your not doing anything at the weekend give me a call"!!!! What was going on there? Do they not tape these conversations for training purposes anymore and surely that can't be legal? All I managed was a very loud gafaw down the phone hmmmmmm!

Owwww!

So last night was great had a real good night out around Yarm then onto Stokesly to the Deli for a bite to eat. Ended up in a local pub libo dancing hmmmmm. Finally fell into bed around 1am but good night out had by all. Then to Xscape with J today - another brill day and had loads of fun with great company. My skiing is coming on a treat and got some compliments from the instructer - who also told me i was mincing hmmmm! He also told me i was good at Parallel's tho which apparently is very good and does not belive ive never skied before, i just need to stop mincing and concentrating so much lol.

Me and J took in a film afterwards - Cellular which was rather good - a bit predictable at times but i enjoyed it. Then again i love the cinema!

So the only thing now is i have a real twingy back but i think it is more to do with limbo dancing as opposed to skiing which probably didn't really help but there was no way I was going to miss it. So I've had a real nice hot bath and I now stink of Deep Heat (maybe put on a little too much but it feels nice and it is hard to reach some of those places - anyone up for giving me a massage?) and I'm off to bed for a nice early night.

Goodnight all catch you later xxx

Its The Weekend Yay!

Well today I got my Laptop sorted (sort of) The ICT guys downloaded the files onto CD for me and they are now safely on my PC at home, alas poor laptop may now be condemed. Thanks ever so much S and it was great to see you again! Once again technologically challenged this afternoon so another big thank you to J for being so patient and not calling me a pest - a pint on Sunday for you hun x

So anyway E is safely packed off to her dads (slightly late but never mind) and i'm all alone again this weekend - even the neighbours have gone too this time too! However a good night out tomorrow round Yarm and then skiing on Sunday so i'm realy looking forward to it.

Fishy still lives and is doing well he'll be one week old on Saturday which I am told is great going for a fish from a fair.

Right now whats on the telly tonight...

It Friday need I say anymore :)

Bloody Hell Success At Last

Yesterday my Lap Top PC failed on me along with AOL and everything to do with work so all round shit day - Thanks you soooooooo much J for all your help, i'm sure i'll get used to my new set up eventually but have to say its more complicated than my old one - or is that just different? I also have broadband now and bloody hell is it fast when you have been used to dinotopia.

Anyway its just taken me about an hour to try and find my blog page again to update as it kept brining up the first one which i designed - then lost ha ha - got it now tho.

Anyway got E's pic back from nursery yesterday and its soooo good - i'm so proud of her lol typical huh.

Fishy is still swimming around although i did have to change his water today as he was a bit green around the edges (after less than a week!) and i also took out his log thing E chose from the shop as he just ignored it and its given him more room to stretch his fins so hopefully will be a bit happier now. He seemed to not be swimming round much but i left him exploring which i am taking as a good sign.

Well i'm taking my lap top into work hopefully to get the IT guys to put everything on CD so i can upload onto my PC (the lap top does not have an integrated writer) but i was told today that IT dont usually offer this service - I've fluttered my eye lids and they are getting back to me so I will keep you posted.

Winter has set in its bloody cold here today good job more fuel arried yesterday - wonder if I'll get snow before Christmas this year?

Right enough of this i need to try and download yet more files an sort stuff out for my afternoon meeting.

The Fish Lives

Well day two and Fishy is doing fine but i have thrown a few things at the cat hmmmmm!

Busy kinda day today looking after a two year old and a one year old, not as bad as I thought tho and S and R where around to keep them occupied while i got on with trimming the hedges etc etc. J went at around 6pm and E collapsed from sheer pleasurable exhaustion only a two year old can experience which meant i've had all evening free to finish my fire place - all done and looking ok i might add - don't think i'll attempt it again in a hurry tho. Next step is to sand down the sleepers and erect a surround (fitting for the house i might add).

I booked my next lesson at Xscape but couldnt fast track yet again as they don't do it on a weekend - oh joy - still looking forward to going again and seeing J.

I don't feel too hot tonight so not sticking around - probably to do with a sleepless night from E last night which she has not done in months!

Ce la Vie! x

New Addition to the Family :)

Well yesterday was yesterday tee hee - ended up being ok got loads of work done then went for a ride on my bike early evening. Did the usual route and thanks again to S and R for having the monitor again. I was a bit earlier this time and realised it was dog walking territory ha ha but still it was good. My time is getting quicker now so doing the route twice to make it worth while. I ended up in the top field again sat on my haybail contemplating my naval before returning home to a relaxed night of music, tv and wine tee hee. At least i know my strength is improving as lifting my bike over the gates is much easier now.

Today was the fair at Stokesley. I didnt go on the show field but went to the fair with E and my mum. Was fun and E managed to hook a Pink duck. Out of all the prizes she decided she wanted the goldfish (oh boy). For those who know kiddie TV Maggie and the Ferocious beast had caught one that morning and kept it as a pet. So we have ended up with an addition to the family in the form of Fishy (don't ask its a two year olds perogative), so for £1.50 it cost me a further £8 for the bowl, food, gravel and plants hmmmmmm. Anyway he's settled in nicely so lets see how long he lasts - we'll class today as number one. He may still be around in the morning but he has been poked etc by E, R and S today so maybe not hmmm. At least the cat has got a new friend! - anyone want a cat by the way??????? The only major problem was fishing the two smarties out of the bowl which E thought he might like! what on earth has this fish let itself in for hmmm.

So tonight i hit the tiles - literally - chipped the old ones off the fire place and replaced them with my own hand made ones (very rustic) but it does look letter being a neutral tone etc. Now all i need is for the cement to dry and grouting to take place.

I didnt go out on my bike today but i have mowed the lawns which is quite enough exercise in iteself for two hours work. I also ventured in the pitch black onto the paddock to retrieve the washing which i forgot about from the washing line - for any normal person this would be ok but believe me when i say I am in the middle of nowhere and there are no lights apart from the house security ones - must get some solar things for this purpose.

So now onto a well deserved glass on wine and relaxation listening to music - god i feel silly tonight wish someone was here to go mad with lol.

Ah well another day etc etc ........

Guess I published it....

Time to be silly again now ;)

Emotional Bits and Bobs

You know when you have one of those days and every song you hear has a meaning or reminds you of someone, or things just happen which makes you think thats just plain weird? Well thats my day summed up for you!

The last few years since 2000 have been really quite emotionally draining for me in one way or another and i guess my life has been one long roller coaster.

I guess everyone goes through a stage when their hubby/ex etc leaves them thinking they are going to be left on the shelf and never find love ever again in their life and pannick.

Well i'm please to inform people that that is no longer me, I have a lovely little girl, some really good mates and a great (small but still great) family (ie mum and sister ha ha).

Its taken a while but i am enjoying life again, making new friends picking up new hobbies and in the words of someone who may be famous one day "having fun for now but you never know what might happen in the future" - you know who you are!

There is no doubt there is that special someone out there and eventually maybe things will work out well but for the time being i like being me and experiencing new things and want to carry on like that - at least for a while - its just nice to know people care about you in one way or another.

I'm sure this blog will turn out to be a marathon one (probably the longest and sloppiest i've ever written)and way to heavy lol so I don't even know if I'll publish this ha ha you just never know what is round the corner or what might happen - thats that great thing called element of surprise that keeps us all looking forward to the future.

Thanks for reading x

Update...

Well not to my surprise my dad didnt come through for my mum last night lol, but have to say that it was an entertaining evening - if a little different. Had a lovely meal with my mum then obviously off to see Colin Fry. He is a very nice man for all intents and purposes and a good showman which i think is needed at this type of show (made me laugh at times).

He was very nice to his audience and vowed to stay until he had seen every single person who wanted to chat which I thought was nice until I saw the price of his merchandise and then thought bloody good job too!

Back to realisty and a full wokring day today - and in at work for half a day huh - oh well.

Oh by the way J this is quite addictive isn't it lol.

Mysterious Man

Hi There

Well half day today yipppeeeee (ha ha i only work part time as it is lol).

Anyway my working day is nearly over and I'm off to get my mum to take her to go and see the well known Spiritualist and Medium Colin Fry at York. Not quite sure what will happen - I've seen him before on TV but i'm always sceptical about these things and my mum really wanted someone to go with her so as a loyal daughter i agreed to take her (bless) - lets just see - I'm truly hoping my mum doesnt really expect to hear from my dad but secretly i think she does - i'm there as the grounded one to keep feet on ground etc.

As it is i've never been to see one before so its another thing to add to my "Oh I've Done That list".

I'll keep you posted of any spooky goings on!

Photo Day Today

Well it was E's big photo day at nursery today so off she toddled in her new outfit - cute bunches in her hair and new shoes bought yesterday. After waiting half an hour for poor old B before E to smile it was finally out turn. She glady informed the photographer that mummy said I had to smile followed by when the photographer said say cheese - she gladly piped up Bobbinogs!!! Sure she was just having a laugh and is 2 going on 22!. As it turns out she was great and smiled continuously - the photographer was full of praise.

The rest of the day was pretty boring registering at Uni again and shopping for my old mum who is suffering with flu along with my sister - don't worry I kept my distance - just in case I got some more wine in which i am going to crack open shortly so can kill the bacteria with alcohol - Thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it.

Sunday!

So went for my second lesson (unfortunately solo this week) but had a brill time and think I might fast track the rest of it - its so much fun. Then went to see a mate near Wigan which was fun. We went to Pizza Hut (hmmmmm) for tea and they forgot to put our order through so an hour later we got food but we did get it half price so i can't complain.

Long drive home but to my surprise the road works had gone so didnt have the miles on end round detour thank god.

I was so glad I sorted out my new music for the car.

Next weekend is the big Stokesley show and fair where the whole high street is taken up with rides etc so should be fun.

XXX

Better Day Today!

So today was miles better than yesterday.

I had a bit of a lie in before looking after R & S's kids for an hour, mowed the lawn, did all my washing and cleaned the car - inside and out - as far as i could anyway. Cooked some chocolate chip cookies with R & S (thats my exxcuse and im sticking to it - but they are lovely if i do say so myself).

Then chilled out for a bit sorting out some updated music for the car and then went out on my bike again along the usual route of woods and fields. Was pleased my haybail was still there for me to have a rest on.

This evening I've actually been working hard and decided to blog while I was uploading my files for work - this is catch up work from my crap day on Friday by the way.

Still a relatively good day and I'm looking forward to my Ski lesson on Sunday now. Oh how i was day dreaming whilst riding my bike - hoping for an especially long winter this year to pro-long the snow.

Just one more thing

Even tho today was relatively crap - it did feel a little bit liberating to know that i coped with yet another crisis by myself - prefer a bloke with me i think tho lol - i need a cuddle x

Day From Hell

Oh boy where do I start.

Well 3am this morning i was woken suddenly by a loud noise - now believe me a single woman that is scarey - so anyway i went to investigate in the bathroom in case one of the cats was being a moron but no. Checked E and went back to bed wondering. So 5am came and E started shouting for me! so I went to see her - "The waterfall keeps keeping me awake" was the call hmmmmmm, i noticed a strange noise and looked out the window to see a torrent of water going down the side of my house - worse still was the paddling in the bathroom - something was wrong with the loo - so as only I would i decided to have a look - there was no doubt what had broken hmmmm but not for me to fix this time. I at least waited till 7am to ring my mum to get Simon's (handyman and angel)phone number and I at least gave him until 7.30am to wake up hmmmm. Anyway after an hour of trying to find the stopcock and then another half hour trying to get the bloody thing off (you need to understand nothing is where it should be in my house - I think it was built by the Smurfs)I succeeded. An hour of cleaning and getting my mum so i could at least attempt some work today my house finally has water again and is drying out. Thanks to S and R for allowing us to invade your home whilst at work for water and conveniences etc.

An afternoon tracking medical intruments covered in blood pursued (dont ask its a project).

Needless to say I didnt go out on my bike and i am very very tired from around 3 hours sleep.

I then made the mistake of watching reality TV and as the day has not been that successful in success terms ended up balling my eyes out as only a woman would lol.

So for me tonight its an early night, sleep then lawns in the morning, hopefully some cycling and then sorting house out. Roll on Sunday and Xscape and hopefully some great company with the delectible J if he makes it - if not ill be hitting the slopes by myself.

Fitness Freak(ish)

So another day another dollar (or pound if i'm being patriotic) For me im now half way through my working week and boy is it busy - can't wait till the weekend.

Last night I went out for a really nice bike ride in my bid to get fit again. I went along through witchy woods (which were not that scarey in day light), saw some really nice deer, then ended up by going up the hill to the top field to watch the beautiful sunset over the sea with the hills behind me. I decided to sit on top of a haybail however could not get on top of it as it was (me being short and all) so pushed it on its side (where did I get the strength?)and then hurled myself on top of it to lie back and enjoy the moment (is that vandalism by the way?) anyway it was lovely and i cycled back home in twilight which was quite eary really. A huge thank you to R for minding E for me.

As if that was not enough in a burst of energy in my lunch hour today i decided to go out again - bloody hell was i saddle sore ha ha - think I might give it a miss tomorrow - Maybe not ;)

So all in all had an ok week so far and one day left to go! Catch you later x

Sheer Domesticated Bliss ha ha

Ok so today was not that eventful in one sense. Housework this morning etc then decided to go Blackberry Picking with E who decided to eat her own body weight in Blackberries hmmmmm. There was a touching moment tho when we were walking back to the house and she looked at me and said "you know you are my best friend". How could i resist! I now have a kitchen full of berries so any alternative suggestions to blackberry jam and crumble etc greatly received - I'm sure there is a drink i can make of the alcoholic version - may give that a try. Anyway I booked my next SKi lesson at XScape for Sunday but they would not let me do the fast track thing as you have to have had lesson two so maybe next time. Still looking forward to it.

House Work Yukky

If anyone fancies coming and doing some boring old housework or keeping me company feel free lol.

The Wonder of Technology

So i decided after the two months to hook up my Broadband Connection today so bought extra USB Adaptor port things to allow me to still use my web cam and Broadband - everything was going well until it asked for the installation disk and as this particlar PC is a work one i don't have it - oh the joys - hopfeully that will be rectified before the end of the week and I will be away.

It looks like J can't make Friday or Saturday for Xscape at Castleford which is a little dissappointing but hopefully soon, as it is i'm still gonna go and book another lesson as i loved it so much and have him to thank for the introduction - here's hoping to see each other soon!.

I have to say congratulations to J and K who had a little baby girl - well done guys.

My First Ever Blog!

Hey there - I think i have just created my second ever blog - second because i've done this once already but can't find it doh. Sure I gotta get better at this. Anyway I'll start this posting on Friday as that has been the highlight of my weekend. Oh and to take a tip from a fellow blogger i'm going to stick to using initials for names to avoid being sued!. So anyway Friday I did it (yay) I met J at Xscape in Castleford and had my very first ski lesson which was great (did'nt break any bones or fall over and i loved it). Highlight was of course meeting J and I spent a great evening with him and can't wait to do it again. The rest of the weekend has been mainly chilling although i did get out on my bike today (for some reason have so much energy since skiing and thought better put it to use). The rest of the day was mainly chilling outside in the lovely weather! Gonna book my next ski lesson tomorrow hopefully so keep you posted - if you get any long gaps in this im in hospital lol. So anyway what do you think of my blog?
