Ok a confession - I knicked this from Ledbum's blog cause I thought it was just great - had me in stitches! Dam I'm itching to get back boarding again now!!!!

Fitness To Practice....

I am sure I have blogged about these two before - I obviously came across them when working for the NHS but they are a couple of Dr's who have produced a CD with alternative lyrics to well known songs. The most famous being London Underground which is soooo funny - anyway they have a new NHS song which is great - click on the link above turn the sound up and listen to the new song - I won't spoil it and tell you what the song is a take off! - by the way for those who don't have it the CD is well worth it :)

First day back at school!

And as far as I know one kid fainted, numerous injuries in PE and a distinct smell of sick in the school hmmmmmmm - great to be back lol! Oh and of course blazing red hot outside and all the school radiators are of course on.....so brings back memories of school days lol!

On top of the above didn't sleep too well last night due to loads of stuff flaoting around in head etc etc. So spent half the night reading Harry Potter and waking early for some strange reason!

Got E back though and she is being an absolute star really missed me bless and me her of course! - maybe a trip down South this weekend for a long weekend????

I have just had a great time down in Maidstone/London/Kent/Sussex etc etc Had a great journey down and arrive early (first time ever on a train and got there early!), S met me at the station :) which was fantastic to see him again! and we had a great few days. Went to see Blood Brothers which was absolutely fantastic I cried and laughed lol me being a woman and all. Also went to the Science Museum and into the Kent Countryside and Sussex coast etc etc. Had some wonderful meals at Chinatown in London too! Oh and not to mention me winning the crazy golf he he (had to mention that bit really).

So back home now :( and missing the great company but not for long I am assured which is the best bit :)

So now back to Uni work etc etc - can't wait till its over and done!

I may post some pics later but as usual need to get the ok from person in them to be politacally correct!

Who's having the most fun adults or children????

Quite a busy few days here in the land of Jones! Visisted D, S, W, H and B the other day and had a trip to Knareborough which was great fun messing about on the river!

Painted goose eggs yesterday (thank you D and S for the supply). And to my sisters today to see family and have Easter Egg hunt etc etc soooooooo next few days taking it easy getting on with even more Uni work before heading off to Kent for a few days yipppeeeee :)

Little ramblers on a well earned rest :)

Decided today to get out and about and joined forces with my sis and her two J and A for a walk up to Captain cooks Monument. I thought E would be the one complaining but she was a star - I sometimes feel for my sis with two wingey boys at times. Anyway started off lovely and ended up beating the rain back to the cars by seconds and then a trip back to my pad for the kids to mess that up and play on the climbing fort lol.

All in all a good day as I hope the pics will show :)

Floppy Experiment!!!

Looking after Floppy for a couple of weeks while next door are away (Guinnie Pig) so we did an experiment today and put diferent kinds of food on a dish in his cage to see what he ate - the greedy thing ate everything!!!

Got Em back today yay - even if she has come back with attitude as normal but soon get her back to normal :)

Went for my eye test today since I had to go in last week to get my lenses checked due to feeling permanently cross eyed hmmm (and no it not the wine lol)- in actual fact my perscription needs changed as my eyes are getting better????? I was -1.50 in one eye and -1.25 in the other (short sighted) and now both are -1.05 so go figure that one out???? Apprently you either get worse when you get to your 30's or start improving lol - looks like i'm improving unless the optician is bull s**ting me! So only one more day until I get the good old contact lenses back woo hoo!

Saw songs of praise last night (no not going all religious) just W was singing in the School Choir of the Year and guess what they won so well done W and St Aidens School Choir in Harrogate wooo hooo - oh and I got both episodes on video so gonna burn them onto CD :)

Other than that had a great day - I'm trying to get E to graduate from Tricycle to Bike with stabelisers which is proving difficult - I had to be really mean and threaten to put the trusted old Tricycle in the bin before she would even sit on the bike hmmmm - is it always this difficult? I succeeded in the end with a lot of tears (she hates anything new) but she did say it was alright in the end with mummy hanging on! She also graduated to having money in the mini ride at the supermarket today lol she usually just sits in it and won't let you put money in it and she enjoyed it so I'm thinking maybe that was not a good thing after all lol.

Oh and an honorable mention to R who is a saviour :)

Crazy...

No not Gnarls Barcley but the weather!!!!! Laid in bed this morning looking at beautiful blue and sunny skies - by the time I got to Stokesley I had been through rain and was being pelted by Hail Stones which were the size of golf balls. Went shopping and when I looked out of the shop window the hail had turned to snow and I mean snow flakes the size of saucers!!!!! Not much has settled so not enough for my board but I always live in hope.... That unless I Journey into the hills which have that lovely white sheet over them once again!

Talk about Crazy weather!

Easter Hols - Yay :)

I am sick to death of 02 twice now they have done this - I can send texts however can't receive them that is until 3 days later when its too late hmmm - I feel a complaint coming on! SO apologies anyone who has had strange messages from me and yes I am fine I was just getting real hurt tht no one was talking to me lol.

E came into work with me today due to problems with child care which was cool as we only had a few GCSE kids in finishing off and she was an absolute star and loved every minute being at the big school!

As for that Easter Hols yay - although I do have a load of Uni work to do - incidentally R everyone in my lecture tonight likes the ring tone of my phone ooops lol (my fault really I generally put it on silent lol). Got back home to a Guinnie Pig (yes don't ask!) and two Easter eggs :). On a down side E went to her dads again tonight but at least I have her for a week next week before she goes to her dad's for a week and of course my big adventure to Kent :) Can't wait :) and into London to a show (which reminds me need to book the tickets tonight). Have to say I was laughing at C's comment about my ex after she met him for the first time today lol - classic and true!

Weekend Report...

Friday - I made a nice curry which was enjoyed by all!

Saturday - You gotta go to the Smugglers Experience down at Saltburn - laughed loads for the price of £1.90 per person even if you do have to add your own voice to the one wich didn't work lol - Ice skating - bloody nora for a place that was gonna shut a few years back its doing such a good trade we could not get in and bowling too so we ended up at the cinema - Hustle hmmm hmmmm nice choice S!!! Ok if you want violence and I mean stomach churning i'm gonna throw up this is the one for you, followed by a nice meal at the Red Lion on the Moors at Blakey (we did not have the rare steak lol) - that was nice, then back home and falling asleep whilst watching DVD lol.

Sunday - Managed bowling yay - and I won a couple of games before the pro decided to smarten up his act and thrashed me in the last one - followed by a nice meal before delivering S back to station to miss his train (cancelled due to engineering) lol and having to get a bus which also got stuck in traffic so is now stuck in York and me about to check connections from KX oops lol.

All in all a fab weekend :) wink wink.
