Ok so I can't sign into MSN and have not been able too for days now - I actually think its a problem with MSN Explorer (as can't launch this either) however since the lovely Bill Gates has given his staff the whole time off over christmas and new year I am completely buggered so if anyone can help please call or email :)

Wooooo Hoooooooooo

First time out on new board and its great :) really pleased - not sure I've got the settings right yet but I can tweek them - I can safely say I have now joined the ranks of the smallest bit of snow and I am there - about 3 inches last night and still snowing like a trooper now as you can see. Got a mate coming down from Scotland to spend a few days which should be good and some more mates round later so anymore in the area are more than welcome :)

Ok so E went to her dads and I moped around all afternoon, however in between watching 100 Greatest Musicals of all time I took the rubbish out and wooo hooo snowing like a trooper - and more forecast so I'll be brushing my boots off, polishing my board and no doubt breaking my neck over the next couple of days after I've figured what settings to attach my bindings on - right wheres the screw driver :)

Great time - E went to her dad's today for new year :( hate that - pass the wine - any company welcome :) Bloody hell its quiet - ah well mates popping round tomorrow!

Merry Christmas

Christmas has been lovely this year - E was really aware of what was happening as any 3 year old going on 4 would be :)

I broke up from school on the Thursday which meant I had some nice time with E just before the big day itself - C came round on the Friday and we did girly stuff like mooch around the shops in Guisborough and sit in small cafe's drinking hot chocolate with plenty of cream and of course marshmallows yummy yummy.


Christmas Eve was great, we made our regular trip to D, S, W, H and B for tea and then onto Harrogate for the annual christmas carols on the green as W was yet again playing in the band. It was lovely and not too cold this year so the kids all ran round the big christmas tree and the adults all tried to stay in tune with the carols - all good traditional fun - and not too long - about an hour and a half before heading off back home to eave milk, mince pie and carrot for santa and rudolf.

Christmas day was great and due to E having such a late night I was awake before her savouring the once in a blue moon experience just lying in bed in peace :) was funny cause I heard her wake up (monitor) and gasp at santas sack at the end of her bed before hearing a few rustle noises some heaves then some tuts, then feet thundering across the landing to look up and see E beaming at me saying "mummy santa came and left me the biggest sack of presents EVER, I've tried to move it to bring it in here but its way too heave come quick" - then remembering granny shouted up to her also :)

She was really concerned cause I didnt have a stocking at the end of my bed and tried to give me a present from her sack (bless) but I reassured her there were more downstairs...and guess what there was!!!

So anyway - E got everything she wanted - she'd only asked for three things so that was easy, so on Christmas Eve when she suddenly got all worried cause she forgot to ask for something my heart sank so we decided to shout up the chimney in case santa was lisnting - anyway she shouted up that she wanted an Angelina Ballerina Theatre Play Set - thank got this was a surprise present I had actually got her - good job huh!

Anyway I must have done something right this year as I got some great presents - I got a bottle fo Chanel No 5 (one of my Favs) a new DVD player for in the lounge from my sis and brother in law (so those who used to come round and were subject to watching DVD's on my bed you can now sit on the sofa (unless of course you prefer the other option tee hee) and the most fantastic wellies from D,S, W, H and B. All I didn't get was that prince under the christmas tree :( maybe this coming year huh?

Knackered!

Sooooooooo tired tonight - was the pensioners christmas party today at school and I was in charge of entertainment. Its funny how some kids are completely tone deaf and then you have those who are so talented. Anyway it went down an absolute storm and everyone had loads of fun - loads of hard work though and tonight an early night to get some zzzzzzzzzz's. For all me saying I was not going to sing I did end up with a microphone lodged in front of myself but reaching the high notes was a struggle due to being on antibiotics for infection lol - all in good fun though and everyone had a great night and the kids were all stars/

Sentimental old fool!

Got my new car :) which is great but was awful getting rid of Dad's car but i know he would have approved.

The fact I bust out crying was not because of the fact I was getting rid of the car entirely - but because My lovely gorgeous ex (joke) decided that he could not wait 5 mins so I could say bye bye to my little girl while he has her for a couple of days - first time ever I've not been there to kiss her goodbye for the sake of 5 mins - what a wanker.

Ok rant over :)

yawn - kinda strange day really - I bought a new car at the weekend which is great cause i really need one but I'm finding it a wrench to let go of my dad's legacy - I know it has to be done but hey memories are kinda raw.

So today at work was kinda good - only taught one lesson today the rest was report writing (boring) and rehearsing kids for the Pensioners Christmas Party - how did I end up doing that again??? - its amazing the mixture of completely tone deaf kids to great ones lol.

So anyway N popped in tonight as in the area and we looked at attaching bindings to board (boarding buddy from xscape) lol to find the 4 hole disks are the wrong size lol - luckily N has a pair of bindings my size up for grabs and has kindly donated so should be sorted tomorrow aftar an emergency drop off lol before the snow! Also an offer to go to America for Chrismas and New Year boarding but what with E here - nice offer but no go I would never pass up a christmas with E for all the snow in world sorry but major priority here :)saying that new year sounds very tempting but since just got new car probably not - errr not new new but you know what I mean.

E's father picked her up from Nursery today to take her to School and I got a text from him saying everything was fine and especially pleased cause he had remembered her coat and bag this time so the child didn't have to freeze (he forgot them last time - as if I'd send her without her bag and coat!). So you can imagine my horror when I walk into grannies to find E all wrapped up on the sofa with BunBun - according to granny she came back from school and her school christmas party like this complaining she felt ill and very quiet - I sent her father a text who said - oh yes come to think of it she did feel a little hot and didn't really say much to me - jerk - no wonder he's a very very ex! So E tucked up in my bed tonight with a dose of Calpol as all she wanted for tea was cuddle from mummy :)

After a rather dodgy weekend of being very poorly (and no not self inflicted booze poisoning unfortunately) and some antibiotics later as well as a couple of days off work dodging Pupils bugs we finally got christmas started wooooo hoooo :)

Bloody Uni.

Got a project in next Friday - so when I was taugth Dreamwearver by the UNI it seems the person who taught me didnt teach good practice so not allowed to use the priniciples in this module so I feel like I;m learning the whole bloody thing again - on top of that I have finally got access to blackboard this week after waiting all bloody term so needless to say I am panicking just a little bit - If I pass this module I'm sure it will be a crap grade :(

So my mate D is coming up from London to give me a hand this weekend so hopefully get most of it cracked - please please - I can't take the stress much longer I need some fun and light relief!

Missing Pussy :(

Now I know I complain about them being a pain in the arse at times a real smelly at times too but Jazzy (one the the cats) has gone missing :(

She stayed out all last night - although I think I did see her at some point yesterday - however all night and all day is a no go for her - she is a real home bird and if left out all night or all day I really get it in the neck when she does turn up so all night and all day and no sign in not good :(

I've checked the barn and up the big tree on the hill which is the suaul haunts for her when she is stuck but nothing :(

Party Season!

Was out for a xmas do last night (NHS one) which was great fun but forgot camera and only had phone cam with me which I am way behind with the times and don't have a lead to PC or blue tooth yet so if you want to see any pics you will need to e-mail me your number (if I don't already have it) oh assuming you are interested in incriminating photo's ha ha!

Other than that feeling a bit grotty today sore throat etc - trying to decide if it is last nights revenge or coming down with a bit of a cold which my mum and E have had! Time will tell.

Was supposed to be working on Uni stuff all day but as usual something came up so been out most of the day so tomorrow I must get my head down - since I can't access the Uni's blackboard yet means I'm having to receive all notes from A via e-mail which is great but a real pain in the arse!

Anyway time for wine to cure the throat tee hee.
