Snow Time!

Ok so I finally won a board I was after on e-bay. I got sooo cheesed off by the dupers who came in 30 seconds before a sale was due to end and sneak in with a bid 11p more than mine - not amused...

So cunning I know but since the sale was due to end at 2.27pm on Friday afternoon I set my year 8 class off on some control work and switched e-bay discreetly on - as I thought someone came in about 1 min before the end of sale but I was there ready to pounce lol - the results are above - can't wait now since snow is forecast for Thursday - only problem is I need it to get here before then and I need bindings and boots lol. Anyway C came round for a girly evening to celebrate and generally chill on Friday evening so we packed away a bit of wine and got a box office movie on sky which we chatted all the way through lol typical women!!! Oh and of course managed a choc fondu with marshmallows and fruit tee hee.

Anyway marking kids work today (year 7 - control) the question was: Name three differences between a lollipop lady/man and a pelican crossing?... here are some of the answers I got:


* You might not like the lollies the lollypop lady has.
* There are no pelicans on a pelican crossing.
* One might die if a car does not stop.


Made me laugh anyway :)
