The Mystery of the Missing Braun Hand Held Multi-Blender

The Story so far.....

A few weeks ago S from next door popped round to ask if he could borrow the above said kitchen utensil and being the lovely neighbour I am I said of course thinking that R was making soup or something along those lines.... ooooh no!

The next thing I know is S has sent me a text saying something along the lines of "I have taken your blender hostage" (he really needs to get new material), he also said that he was in South Africa on business at the time and that it had somehow managed to get into his suitcase and therefore he would return it asap!!!! ... the plot thickens...

So anyway a month or so passes and I didnt need it and like me I completely forgot about it - that was until this weekend... I had my mum stopping with me (being that time of year) and I was making home made fish cakes, I was in the middle of poaching the fish and boiling the potatoes when I realised I needed to make breadcrumbs and remembered about the blender so I rang next door. S was out and R answered the phone and said "if you want it back you have to speak to S I don't know where it is"????? I questioned for a little bit saying well surely I can just come round and get it when she said "Please speak to Steve I have nothing to do with it as he does not have it here and I am fed up having a go at him about it" - needless to say I sent a text to S who responded saying "You can't have it back, I can't get hold if it! can't you use your blender" - of course I did as I'd forgotten about the other one but he promised to explain later in the week when he gets back home.

So tonight S baby sat for me whilst I went to night class and when I got back I of course questioned him as I was completely puzzled....

As it turns out S had borrowed it for his business!!!! (would have been nice to know) and the blender is currently in one of the Labs at ICI Wilton - he assures me that no horrid chemicals are being used however I feel a new blender may be on the horizon what do you reckon????

Just so I can name and shame S is the green Jesus in the Halloween pics (mad i know).
