Hostage...Day 1...Kidnapping Confirmed!

The hostage was left in the attic today pleading for some loo roll for his bear behind. This request was of course denied due to Pooh using it all up!

It was a breezy kinda day as I waltzed into the office cheerily saying good morning to all present. The first thing M said was “ok you can give him back now”. I stared blankly at her and said excuse me. “you know who I am talking” about she said as I turned away and hung up my coat. I have no idea I replied…. This went on for a bit and it transpired that Sooty had been kidnapped and a ransom e-mail received!! (tee hee) – I gotta say my acting was first class as I started to blame everyone else. The biggest compliment I got was it must be you it’s done so professionally (I was not falling for it though).

The plot thickened – M decided to write an e-mail back to the kidnappers (correspondence as follows). What finally convinced them it was not me was the fact that you can’t access private e-mail from within the hospital (or so they think!!!) and they were getting e-mails from an AOL account all day whilst I was present and hard working in my office (sneaky ain’t I). In the end the Dr’s Mess President H got involved as seen in the correspondence, he was a sneaky one sending an e-mail to the kidnappers, waiting for a reply and ringing the office straight away to see if I was there… of course I was so I am totally blameless now although a partner in crime has not been ruled out as yet!!
