Bridget Jones's Diary
I've just finished watching the above film and was startled to see some similarities as follows:
1 - I sat down with a glass of wine and a tube of smarties!!
2 - I have a way of putting my foot in mouth and saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.
3 - Every woman owns a pair of those knickers (and if they say they don't they are lying).
4 - I tend to say stupid things to guys I really really like.
5 - Im completely mad and ramble on when i get nervous (very nervous that is).
6 - I have had an incident with knickers! all be it not the big ones (wish they had been at the time).
7 - I do on occassion drink copious amounts of alcohol!
8 - I guess you could call this my diary!
Things I do not have in common (at the moment!)
1 - Never made blue soup - im actually quite a good cook.
2 - Never woken up with my knickers stuck to me.
3 - I don't smoke.
4 - Never shagged my boss.
5 - Never had two blokes have a brawl over me.
6 - My parents were (and always will be) lovely and my mum never left my dad to shag an orange!
7 - Not blonde hmmmm.
8 - I've never had the bloke I truly like declare he feels the same way for me - who knows huh!
Anyway whilst watching the movie i was also doing something at the same time which I am not going to admit on here at the moment (unless you ask nicely - but it seriously is sad), those who know me and may hazzard a guess will be shocked and stunned!
So as Bridget did when she was a spinster - I'm off to my cold bed :)

I didn't see the firemans pole on the list... is it missing, or just not yet?!?!?!?!?
Never had big knickers ala Bridget Jones actually. In fact, the largest my knickers have been were on holiday in Verbier and had to by some at an extortionate price as Swizz Air never delivered my luggage. Every one was mighty impressed as they'd never seen that amount of material poking above my jeans before - flesh yes, material no.
Ha Ha ok - I actually checked my knickers draw and have to say could not see any that big in my drawer too - only from when i was pregnant and they went out ages ago. As for the fire mans pole - not yet!!! but i did have a trapeze when i moved in - does that count???
Actually one of the things I've always wondered about that film is that as the 'hold it all in' knickers were too big for her anyway, why didn't she just wear really tiny knickers?
And, good god, the girl's a size 12 - big deal. If she was size 22, then I could understand the big pants!
